Weakest Link
Al Halaka Al Adaaf The Weakest Link goes Arabic at Lebanons Future TV Studios

Broadcasting worldwide via satellite in the Middle East, Europe and even the United States, Future TV produces a series of popular programs including the Arabic version of the popular game show The Weakest Link, which, in Arabic, is called Al Halaka Al Adaaf.

Future TV, one of the major TV studios in Lebanon, has installed electronic ballast versions of Martins MAC 2000, the MAC 2000E, as well as other MAC products for the popular show.

Broadcast twice a week from the ultra modern studio, the lighting rig for Al Halaka Al Adaaf includes 9 MAC 2000E and 12 MAC 500 profile spots, along with 6 MAC 300 washlights. Two Jem StageHazer foggers provide a mid-air projection surface and other effects.

All equipment is controlled by the Martin Case II controller and was supplied directly by Martins representative in the area, Martin Professional Middle East. Lighting Engineer is Samer Kaddoura with lighting programming by Fadi Darwich. Lighting installer was Karim Abdel Massih.

Several The Weakest Link programs throughout the world incorporate Martin lighting including the UK version broadcast by the BBC from Pinewood TV Studios.
